1. Eat Clean
A healthy body equals a healthy mind. You are what you eat. You’ve heard these adages before and for good reason. There is a huge correlation between your diet and productivity. Think of your body as a machine, requiring a certain type of fuel to keep it running at its most optimal level.
2. Exercise Regularly
It’s important to keep active. Even squeezing in a half hour walk around the block is key when it comes to increased productivity and successful behavior. Exercising regularly will naturally boost energy levels and act as stress relief.
3. Meditate/Yoga
Practicing yoga or mediation is a great way to keep your mind at ease and maintain the focus you need to accomplish your goals and everyday tasks.
4. Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate
Most people overlook the notion they aren’t drinking enough water throughout the day. Dehydration has many negative effects on the body, so make sure you’re constantly drinking water when you can. A good idea is to bring a thermos of lemon water with you and keep next to your work station for easy access.
5. Write It Down
Schedule things to accomplish on your calendar. Constantly be taking notes. Chances are if you are writing it down, your brain is more likely to retain the information. Make timelines for to-do lists and check them off as you go.
6. Keep Track of Goals
When you write down your goals and what you want to achieve, it makes them more real. When you outline what it is exactly that you want out of life or a situation, it becomes easier to attain.
7. Avoid Social Media
Social media is a great way to connect with friends and share information, but it also serves as a major distraction. Schedule a small window at a certain point during the day allowed for checking social media.
