Fans of ABC’s cancelled show The Middle will be thrilled to learn a spinoff, focusing on character Sue Heck, has been ordered to pilot on ABC. According to The Wrap, the yet untitled spinoff will chronicle eternal optimist Sue’s adventures as she leaves her small town of Orson, Indiana to navigate life in Chicago.
The Middle creators Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline will write and executive produce the pilot, with actress Eden Sher returning to reprise her role as the loveable Sue.
