Britax have issued a recall for more than 700,000 Click and Go receivers. These enable a car-seat to be attached to a stroller frame. The specific Click and Go systems being recalled are those used for the Britax B-Agile and BOB Motion Strollers.
The reason for the recall is the Click and Go receivers can unexpectedly disengage. The company have received 33 reports of car seats disengaging from the stroller and falling to the ground. 26 reports show injuries to the child. The company also is aware of more than 1300 reports of strollers with damaged Click and Go mounts.
Information on the recalled model numbers can be found at www.us.britax.com/recall. The company is urging anyone with a recalled product to stop using the receiver mounts immediately and contact the company for a free repair kit.
