Jaden Smith Opens Food Truck to Feed LA’s Homeless Population

Jaden Smith celebrated his 21st birthday by offering free meals to the homeless via a pop-up vegan food truck.
The son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith shared the philanthropic news via his Instagram page, sharing a picture of the ‘I Love You Restaurant’ truck delivering food to Skid Row’s homeless.
“@ILoveYouRestaurant is a movement that is all about giving people what they deserve, healthy, vegan food for free,” Smith captioned the shot. “Today we launched our first one day food truck pop-up in Downtown LA. Keep a look out because this is the first of many.”
According to USA Today, homelessness in Los Angeles is up 16 percent over last year across the city.
