Amy Schumer Reveals She Has Lyme Disease

Amy Schumer revealed she is being treated for the tick-borne illness Lyme disease.
Schumer shared the news via Instagram, telling fans it’s possible she could have “had it for years.”
“My first ever fishing pole,” Schumer captioned a throwback summer pic of herself as a child posing with a fishing pole. “Anyone get LYME this summer? I got it and I’m on doxycycline. I have maybe had it for years.”
“Any advice?” the busy mom asked. “Can you have a glass of wine or 2 on it? I know to stay out of the sun. I’m also taking these herbs from cape cod called lyme-2.”
“Please comment or text me on my number in my bio,” Schumer told fans. “I also want to say that I feel good and am excited to get rid of it.”
According to the CDC, symptoms of Lyme disease include fever, headaches, skin rash and fatigue.
