Ariana Grande revealed she is “broken” after an explosion at her concert in Manchester, England injured 59 children, teens and young people and killed 22 people, including an eight-year-old girl.
The pop-star wrote on Twitter, “broken. From the bottom on my heart. I am so sorry. I don’t have words.”
A suspected suicide bomber detonated an explosion in the public lobby area of Manchester arena just as Ariana Grande’s concert was ending and thousands of concert-goers were exiting the building.

Islamic State have claimed responsibility for the attack and it is reported police know the name of the suicide bomber, although they have not released any details as they continue to investigate.
Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins told reporters, “The attacker, I can confirm, died at the arena. We believe the attacker was carrying an improvised explosive device which he detonated causing this atrocity.”
Greater Manchester Police also said, “With regards to last night’s incident at the Manchester arena, we can confirm we have arrested a 23-year-old man in South Manchester.”

Britain’s Prime Minister, Theresa May, issued a statement saying, “All acts of terrorism are cowardly attacks on innocent people, but this attack stands out for its appalling, sickening cowardice – deliberately targeting innocent, defenseless children and young people who should have been enjoying one of the most memorable nights of their lives.”
TMZ reports Grande has “indefinitely suspended her world tour” adding the young singer was “in hysterics” following the terrorist attack. Ariana’s manager, Scooter Braun, released a statement saying, “We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”
