Busy dad Anderson Cooper knows a thing or two about juggling work and parenthood – and his newest endeavor will help frazzled parents around the country get expert advice on everything from sleep schedules to kids and technology.
Cooper will be hosting a special parenting show for CNN’s streaming subscription service, CNN+, in the coming months, USA Today reports. Parental Guidance with Anderson Cooper will air weekly and see the 54-year-old dad, “consult experts on how to navigate life as a working father and confront everyday parenting challenges from sleep schedules to screen time,” CNN said in a press release.
Cooper will also continue to host Full Circle, which will move to the streaming service this year.
Cooper, who became a father to his son Wyatt in 2020, has been open about his life as a new parent.
“As a gay kid, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I’m grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son’s birth,” Cooper shared on Instagram announcing the birth of his son. “Most of all, I am grateful to the remarkable surrogate who carried Wyatt, and watched over him lovingly, and tenderly, and gave birth to him. It is an extraordinary blessing – what she, and all surrogates give to families who can’t have children.”
