Bette Midler Confirms ‘Hocus Pocus’ Sequel


After Disney revealed last year they were planning a sequel to the iconic 1993 Halloween film Hocus Pocus, many people were hoping to see the return of the original Sanderson witch sisters.
According to FOX 5, Bette Midler has confirmed she will be reprising her role as Winifred Sanderson in the sequel, alongside original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimi.
“They want to make a movie, they’ve asked us if we were interested and of course all of us said yes,” Midler revealed during an interview with FOX 5. “I’m game, I’m totally game.”It's just a bunch of hocus pocus, literally! According to Variety, Adam Shankman has been picked to direct Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney +.
