If you have any Butterball ground turkey lurking in the freezer you may want to check to see if it is part of a recall.
The company has recalled over 78,000 pounds of ground turkey over fears of salmonella. The recall dates back to ground turkey processed in July of last year.
According to
Fox News, the recall comes after regulators found five patients in two states were sickened by salmonella.
All products were produced on July 7, 2018, and contain the establishment number EST. P-7345, together with the following packaging information:
