Dance Moms star, Abby Lee Miller, has been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison.
The sentencing comes after Miller pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud last June.
The Chief Judge in the case, Joy Flowers Conti, ruled that in addition to her time spent in federal prison, Miller will also have to serve two-years probation and live in a place “approved by the probation officer.”
Before the Judge Joy Flowers Conti handed down Miller’s sentence, Miller spoke to the Judge saying in part, “I am very sorry for what I’ve done and the inconvenience I’ve caused others…I have accepted responsibilities for my actions and plead guilty the two charges against me…I can assure you that I will never be in front of a court again.”
