Felicity Huffman Sentenced in College Admissions Case

Actress Felicity Huffman has been sentenced to 14 days in prison for her role in the college admissions scandal.
Huffman, who plead guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, will also have to serve one year of probation, pay a $30,000 fine and perform 250 hours of community service after being accused of paying $15,000 to have her daughter’s SAT scores altered.
Huffman is one of thirty parents charged in what authorities have called the largest college admissions scam ever prosecuted. Other prominent figures, including Full House actress Lori Loughlin are also facing prosecution.
According to TMZ, Huffman is asking to carry out her prison sentence at FCI Dublin, a minimum-security female prison close to her home in Los Angeles.
Dubbed one of the “10 cushiest prisons” in America by Forbes, FCI Dublin has, in the past, housed Sara Jane Moore, who attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford in 1975, and Autumn Jackson, who was convicted of trying to extort Bill Cosby for $40 million.
