Heather Locklear Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Actress Heather Locklear was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of felony domestic battery after police received a domestic violence call to a Thousand Oaks, California home.
According to People, the 56-year-old Melrose Place star was also charged with three counts of battery on a police officer.
TMZ are reporting Locklear’s brother made the 911 call after he allegedly saw Heather and boyfriend Chris Heisser fighting. Heisser was arrested for a DUI shortly following Heather’s arrest.
According to People, Heather and Chris were high school sweethearts who reconnected last year.
Sources close to Locklear told People they hope she receives help for the depression, anxiety and substance abuse she has been battling with for years, telling the mag, “It’s a disease.”
“She has to be ready to fix it herself,” an insider revealed to People. “She knows help is available, she’s sought it out before, but you can’t force anybody to get help…it’s heartbreaking.”
