Heidi Klum Reveals Launch of 2016 Swimwear Collection

Supermodel Heidi Klum just announced she will be launching a 2016 Swimwear collection as part of her Heidi Klum Intimates brand.
Klum announced the news via social media, posting a photo of she and her crew in a pool as she sported a striped two-piece bikini. She captioned the snapshot, “Big things to come… Heidi Klum Swim launching this summer.” Source: Instagram
The former Victoria’s Secret model-turned fashion designer told Women’s Wear Daily, “Most of my career has been spent rolling around on beaches around the world, and I still love it, so we’ve been working on this for a while,” referring to her upcoming launch, which will include swimwear and cover-ups.
Klum told the publication, when creating the line, both the design of suit and the durability was important to her. “I’m not a huge fan of strange tan lines. There are so many complicated swim shapes out there but I don’t want 10 straps on my back.”
She added, “The line also has to perform really well. I go to water parks a lot with my kids and you want things that look good but that also hold up when they are wet.”
According to the news outlet, the line will launch in the Southern hemisphere in July and the Northern hemisphere in October.
