Jennifer Lopez to Headline ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’

Jennifer Lopez has been picked to headline this year’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and will ring in 2021 with a special performance in the Ryan Seacrest hosted extravaganza.
Billboard reports J.Lo will perform just before the Times Square ball drop and will headline a group of performers, including Cyndi Lauper and Billy Porter who will hit the stage with a special Kinky Boots reunion.

Due to the pandemic, this year’s show will look a little different and will be closed to the public. However, viewers can expect to see the return of previous hosts including Ciara who will announce the Los Angeles festivities, and of course, the return of Ryan Seacrest who will be helped by Lucy Hale and Billy Porter in New York City.
“2020 has been a trying year for the world and I’m thrilled to have Billy and Lucy join me in ushering in a new year with fresh beginnings,” Seacrest said in a statement. “We look forward to making sure it’s a night for everyone to remember.”
