John Legend Named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive”

His famous wife once compared him to the PBS animated aardvark Arthur, but People magazine thinks John Legend is just plain sexy!
The mag has named Legend their “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2019 – and John is, well, “a little scared.” “I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it’s a lot of pressure,” Legend, whose deluxe edition of A Legendary Christmas is available now, told People. “Everyone’s going to be picking me apart to see if I’m sexy enough to hold this title. I’m [also] following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!”
The talented father of two is the 34th man to be crowned People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” which started back in 1984 with Mel Gibson. Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, shared her excitement over her husband’s new title telling her Twitter followers, “the sexiest man alive just made me a ham sandwich.”
