Kelly Clarkson Hosted Billboard Awards with Appendicitis

Kelly Clarkson proved the show must go on when she hosted the Billboard Music Awards all while suffering from appendicitis.
The Voice coach soldiered on through the pain with an unwavering smile on her face and even performed twice during the evening despite feeling under the weather.
Clarkson revealed in a social media post she flew home directly following the event to have her appendix removed. “Not gonna lie…. I may or may not have broken down in tears after the show from pain BUT thanks 2 all the amazing people @ Cedars-Sinai I flew home directly after the event, nailed the surgery early this morning, & feeling awesome now!” the brave singer revealed.
