In an interview with
Us Weekly, Khloe Kardashian reveals how she lost, and more importantly, kept off the baby weight.
Speaking to the mag the
Revenge Body star shared she weighed 203 lbs after welcoming baby True last year and found the thought of getting back in shape “daunting.”
“In my head I felt like I would push the baby out and then I’ll be skinny again,” Khloe revealed to the mag. “Then you get home from the hospital and you’re like, ‘What?’ It’s a big shock”
“As soon as I got clearance from my doctor, I was [in the gym],” Khloe shared. “I was so excited to start working out again. Mentally I was there. But physically, I couldn’t do it. I was out of breath. I didn’t know how I was going to get to my end goal I took it really slow. I did it day by day. If I could get through that workout, I did. But you’re not going to get it back in a day.”
The 35-year-old reality star found that mixing things up in the gym, eating a low-carb diet and giving herself daily pep talks really helped on her weight loss journey.
“I’ve always loved boxing,” Khloe told
Us Weekly. “But I do a lot of metabolic circuit training too. And I love to do weights, but with cardo intervals in between.”
