Busy pop star, Lady Gaga, took time out of her busy schedule to connect with teens at an LGBT New York homeless shelter.
While bonding with the residents, many of whom were kicked out of their homes for being gay, Lady Gaga revealed her deepest secret to the homeless youth, admitting she suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Opening up about her struggles with PTSD for the first time, Lady Gaga revealed in a
Today show interview, “I told the kids I suffer from PTSD. I’ve never told anyone that before. So here we are. But that kindness that’s shown to me by doctors as well as my family, and my friends, it’s really saved my life.”
Lady Gaga showed the teens a meditation exercise she uses to help her calm down. She also performed at the shelter and took the time to write a personal letter to each teen living at the shelter in New York’s Harlem neighborhood.
“I am no better than any of those kids,” Gaga stated. “And I’m no worse than any of them. We are equal. We both walk our two feet on the same earth. And we’re in this together.”
