Price of Forever Stamps Rising by 10 Percent

You may want to stock up on your supply of forever stamps before Sunday, which is when the price will increase by 10 percent.
The price hike is the largest since 1991 and will see forever stamps rise from 50 cents to 55 cents per stamp. The U.S. Postal Service is also raising rates on its document and package shipping services, including Priority Mail and Priority Express.
It’s been tough going for the U.S. Postal Service. Last year they reported a loss of approximately $3.9 billion – $1.2 billion more than the previous year. This marks the 12th consecutive year the Postal Service have reported a loss.
