Property Brothers duo Jonathan and Drew Scott are getting a new HGTV series, which focuses on homeowners wanting to stay in their properties.
Their new Property Brothers: Forever Home series will differ from their original Property Brothers show in that the current homeowners aren’t looking to move. Instead, the twin brothers will bring their expertise in helping the residents renovate to create their perfect house. “When a family buys a house, they know when it’s the right one — the fixer upper where they can spend all their time and grow old together,” The Wrap report Drew as saying. “But, before they know it, years go by and the house hasn’t changed.”
According to The Wrap, each episode will see Drew – the Realtor twin – take homeowners on tours of nearby properties to figure out which aspects of those homes they love, and which ones they hate.
With that information, Jonathan – the contractor twin – will set to work bringing those design elements to life and giving the homeowners’ current house a complete makeover.
“We will turn these families’ dreams into a reality,” Drew said of the new show.
“And give them a place they’ll never want to leave,” Jonathan revealed.
Property Brothers: Forever Home will premier on Wednesday, May 29th on HGTV.
