Viewers of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County have watched cast member Shannon Beador’s relationship with husband David go through some tumultuous times, including David’s extra-marital affair.

Now Shannon, who announced she was separating from her husband of seventeen years in October, has filed for divorce. According to The Blast the reality star filed documents in Orange County Superior Court this week.

The couple have three daughters together – 15-year-old Sophie and 12-year-old twins Stella and Adeline.
A source close to Shannon revealed to E!News, “This has been a miserable marriage for Shannon for a very long time. David wanted out. Shannon couldn’t take it any longer and has decided that this is the best for her kids and her health. Shannon is very distraught and is trying everything possible to keep it together for the sake of her kids.”
