Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Donate Another $1 Million to Food Banks

For the second time during the coronavirus pandemic, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have donated one million dollars to Feeding America and Food Banks Canada.
In separate social media posts, both Feeding America and Food Banks Canada revealed the stars would once again be donating $500,000 to each organization to support their COVID-19 response funds.

“We are honored and privileged to be able to continue our support of Feeding America and Food Banks Canada,” the couple said in a statement. “We know the struggles so many of our neighbors faced last year are not over, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help facilitate the important work of food banks across the US and Canada to be able to provide nourishing meals to people in need.”
In the early days of the pandemic, Reynolds revealed he and Lively would be donating $1 million to the two food banks, saying at the time, “Covid-19 has brutally impacted older adults and love income families. Blake and I are donating $1 million to be split between FEEDING AMERICA and FOOD BANKS CANADA.”
