Underwood, a new mom to her 10-month-old son Isaiah, is letting readers in on her lifestyle secrets to looking and feeling great. She tells
Shape, “I’m vegan and I love bread, but recently, I started making dinner a breadless meal. I’ll have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and I’ll make a sandwich on Ezekiel bread for lunch, but in the evening I’ll have protein and vegetables and no bread. When I wake up, my belly is flat!”

In addition to her meal plan, the 32-year-old also credits her active lifestyle to her toned physique. She reveals her go-to workout, Tabata, to
Shape magazine. “My favorite workout is Tabata, which I can do at home in about a half hour. I’m in love with it! It’s hard, but it really works. I choose seven different exercises, like squats, lunges, or pushups, and do eight rounds of each – 20 seconds on, 20 seconds off for eight rounds. It really revs up my metabolism. When I’m done, I can handle anything.”
Underwood, who is married to her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, has had quite the busy year and it isn’t slowing down any time soon. The country star debuted her fitness fashion line, Calia, during Fall’s New York Fashion Week. She’s been working on her new album,
Storyteller, set to release Oct. 23 and will be returning for her co-hosting gig on the 2015 CMA Awards.
