Sir Elton John Announces Retirement from Touring

Sir Elton John has announced he will no longer tour, revealing he wants to spend more time with his family. The singer told fans his upcoming world tour will be his last, telling CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “My priorities have changed.”
“I can’t physically do the traveling anymore,” Sir Elton told Anderson Cooper. “I want to be at home. I really want to spend time with my children at home. I’ve had an incredible life, but life is all about change.” Sir Elton is set to embark on a gruelling “Farewell Yellow Brick Road – Elton Farewell Tour”, which will see the music icon perform 300 dates over the the next three years.

With two boys to raise, Elton told Cooper he plans to stay home with his kids once this tour is complete, but still plans on composing and recording music.
