If you’re on the front lines fighting the coronavirus pandemic, Starbucks wants to give you a free cup of coffee.
The coffee chain announced they will provide a free tall hot or iced coffee to all frontline responders fighting COVID-19. This pertains to police officers, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses, medical researchers and hospital/medical staff members. The free coffee for first responders will run through May 3.
In addition, Starbucks also revealed they will donate $500,000 to U.S frontline responders through The Starbucks Foundation. Half will support delivery of 50,000 care packages to healthcare workers, and half will support delivery of personal protective equipment and essential medical items, according to a report from The Daily Meal.
