Survey Finds 46% of Americans Won’t Be Handing Out Candy This Halloween

A recent study conducted by ApartmentGuide has found that nearly half of Americans won’t be handing out candy this Halloween.
As we continue to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, Trick-or-Treating this year is going to look – and feel – a lot different due to social distancing guidelines.
According to People, the ApartmentGuide survey found that 46% of Americans won’t be opening their doors to hand out candy this year.
Thirty-four percent of those surveyed revealed they plan to celebrate Halloween, as usual, this year, while 16% said they would adjust their plans to adhere to guidelines put in place by the CDC.
People reports of the 34% who said they would celebrate as normal, 30% said they would physically open the door to trick-or-treaters, whereas 24% plan to leave a bowl outside.
