According to
Insider, the lucky taste-testers got to bake and eat the following ready-to-bake cookie dough brands: Annie’s Homegrown, Sweet Loren’s, Great Value, Pillsbury, Soozie’s Doozie’s, and Nestle. For the sake of consistency,
Insider picked the standard chocolate chip variety, or chocolate chunk if chocolate chip was unavailable.
When it came to picking a favorite the folks at
Insider picked a tried-and-true household staple –
Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies.
According to
Insider, Nestle Tollhouse came out tops thanks to its delicious taste after baking. At only 80 calories per cookie, the taste-testers at
Insider also loved how Nestle Tollhouse ready-to-bake cookies maintained their chewiness – even a day after baking.
Insider found the cookies to have that all-important perfect ratio of chocolate chips to cookie dough, plus the raw dough was easy to separate when it came time to baking.
