The Five Habits Most Millionaires Implement on a Day to Day Basis

Are there certain habits that set millionaires apart from the rest of us? In the book, Rich Habits: The Daily Success Habits of Wealthy Individuals, author Tom Corley studied 233 wealthy individuals over the course of five years. Through their surveys and the surveys of 128 individuals who earned less than $35,000 per year, Corley honed in on certain habits self-made millionaires possessed that helped them achieve success. Here are five of those habits you may want to start incorporating into your life!
Reading – 88 percent of the wealthy individuals Corley surveyed spent at least thirty minutes per day reading books related to their business, self help books, or biographies. Most of the individuals surveyed stuck to non-fiction books in order to further their knowledge, or self improvement. Only 3 percent read fiction.A post shared by JUDAHTHEREALTOR (@judahtherealtor) on
Avoiding Things That Waste Time – “When we invest our time in anything, it is lost forever,” Corley writes in the book and that is one habit rich people hone in on. They see time as an investment and in order to get the best return on their investment they do not waste time on fruitless endeavors. This can span to anything from television watching, mindlessly scrolling through social media apps and doing things that don’t bring joy.
Get a Good Night’s Sleep – 89 percent of rich people sleep at least 7 to 8 hours per night. Sleep is necessary for creative thinking and cognitive function.
Exercise – 76 percent of the wealthy individuals Corley surveyed dedicate at least 30 minutes a day to aerobic exercise, whether that be swimming, jogging, or walking. Not only is exercise great for brain function, it will also aid in getting a good night’s sleep.Because we got taco 🌮 Tuesday tonight! Follow my snap for more: khloekardashian

Avoid Impulse Purchases – “I learned in my five-year study of the rich and the poor that becoming wealthy is not always about how much you make, but how much you keep,” Corley told CNBC Make It. Live in a modest house, avoid overspending on entertainment and avoid impulse purchases that are emotionally driven. Saving money is important. 95 percent of the wealthy individuals surveyed save 20 % or more of their net income and implemented this habit long before they became rich.
