Zara Tindall, Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, has welcomed her third child after a surprise home birth.
Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed a baby boy they have named Lucas Philip Tindall. The royal tot, who is the Queen’s 10th great-grandchild, joins older sisters Mia and Lena.
Buckingham Palace issued a statement, saying, “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news and look forward to meeting their 10th great-grandchild when circumstances allow.”
Zara, who is the daughter of Princess Anne, reportedly gave birth at home in the bathroom after little Lucas decided he was ready to be born before the royal mom could get to a hospital.
“Fortunately, the midwife, who was going to meet us at the hospital wasn’t that far away, so she drove up, got there just as we’d assumed the pos-ish [position]. And then the second midwife arrived just after the head had arrived,” the

Mom and baby are both healthy, Tindall revealed, saying of Zara, “She was a warrior as always. She was back up. We went for a walk with him… All good.”
