Zoë Kravitz Joining ‘Batman’ Cast

Zoë Kravitz will soon get the chance to unleash her feline powers after landing the role of Catwoman in the upcoming Matt Reeves directed movie The Batman, opposite Robert Pattinson. According to People, Kravitz – who is the daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet – will star as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, in the movie set to hit theaters in June, 2021.

The Batman is set to start filming in the U.K early next year and will focus on Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in the early stages of his transformation into the Dark Knight.
According to The Wrap, Matt Reeves stepped in to direct the film after Ben Affleck stepped away from both that position and as the film’s star. Along with directing the movie, Reeves also wrote the screenplay along with Mattson Tomlin.
