Demi Lovato Confesses Sobriety Relapse in New Single

Demi Lovato has confirmed she relapsed on her sobriety journey in her new single entitled “Sober.”
The singer, who is busy promoting her new album Tell Me You Love Me released the new single via a Twitter and Instagram post with the title and lyrics suggesting she may have relapsed after recently celebrating six years of sobriety.

“My truth…#sober out now” Demi captioned the social media single release.
“Mama, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore / And daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor,” Demi sings on the raw piano accompanied ballad. “To the ones who never left me, we’ve been down this road before / I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore / And I’m sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again / I wanna be a role model, but I’m only human.”
