Amy Schumer and Serena Williams are comfortable and confident in their own skin. The comedian and tennis superstar put their semi-nude bodies on display for Pirelli’s revamped 2016 calendar photoshoot.
Schumer and Willams are among 13 women featured in the calendar; women who represent “outstanding professional, social, cultural, sporting and artistic accomplishment.”

This year marks the 43rd edition of the calendar and was photographed by accomplished photographer Annie Leibovitz. “For 2016, we did something completely different, but it is still simple. It is a classic set of black-and-white portraits made in the studio,” claimed Leibovitz in a press release.
In previous years, the calendar portrayed nudity, but this year, Pirelli is taking a different approach. Although the 34-year-old

Leibovitz spoke of Schumer, stating, “I’m a great admirer of comediennes. The Amy Schumer portrait added some fun. It’s as if she didn’t get the memo saying that she could keep her clothes on.”
Schumer posted the candid and un-retouched photograph to social media, stating, “Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman. Thank you @annieleibovitz.”

Other talented females included in the spread were 82-year-old musician Yoko Ono, 68-year-old rock star Patti Smith and 33-year-old top model Natalia Vodianova.
