Beyonce Pulls Out of Coachella Per Doctor’s Advice

Beyonce has pulled out of this year’s Coachella music festival following advice from her doctor.
The singer, who is pregnant with twins, was set to headline the Indio, California event – the first time a female singer has headed the festival since Bjork performed there in 2007.

The cancellation after Beyonce’s doctors advised her to keep a “less rigorous” schedule.
Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment and the festival promotion company Goldenvoice released a joint statement, saying, “Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forego performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However Goldenvoice and Parkwood Entertainment are pleased to confirm she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
