Ron Howard Reveals Name of New Star Wars Flick

Since taking over the director’s chair over the summer, Ron Howard has been sharing pics and info about the new Star Wars movie, but up until now has kept mum on the name. Star Wars fans were delighted when Howard shared a short video to social media, including that ever-important movie title.
The film, which is the second in what is to be a Star Wars anthology is the first to focus on a specific character, so it seems only fitting that this film about a young Han Solo is called Solo.
The younger Hans Solo is played by actor Alden Ehrenreich. Other cast members include Thandie Newton, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson and Donald Glover.
Filming started in January 2017 and Solo is expected to hit movie theaters May 25, 2018.
