Bumble is celebrating 10 years of successful matches by offering 50 couple who met on the dating app the chance to get married in Las Vegas for free.
Winning couples will get to marry at the iconic Little White Wedding Chapel, which will be turned yellow just for the occasion, Bumble said.
We’ll fly you, your partner, and two witnesses to Vegas (hotel included) to tie the knot in style at A Little Yellow Wedding Chapel, the company said. All you have to do? Share the story of how it started with Bumble, and led to getting lucky for life.
The contest is open to residents of all 50 U.S. states, as well as residents of Canada, excluding Québec. To enter, couples can complete contest entry form at Bumble.com before 11:59:59 p.m. CT on April 28, including an original essay statement answering the following prompt:
Tell us about your Bumble Dating story. Tell us everything, from first messages and dates, to how it’s going now, inside jokes, nicknames, etc. We want all the deets. The funny, the messy, all of it.
A panel of judges will select winners based on who submitted the most thought-provoking and genuine answers.
And if you’ve already married your Bumble match, you can still enter the contest to renew your vows in Las Vegas.
Bumble will send selected winners a pre-application form for Nevada marriage licenses, which they will have to obtain as soon as they arrive in Las Vegas. Although Bumble is footing the bill for flight, hotel and ceremony, winners will be responsible for paying the marriage license fee, which is $102 in cash or $105.29 with credit card.
Winners will be notified on or around May 10. If a winning couple breaks up before their scheduled wedding date, the prize will be forfeit.
