Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos has revealed he has COVID-19.
The ABC news anchor made the announcement during Monday’s GMA, assuring viewers from his virtual office, “I’m feeling great.” “I’ve never had a fever, never had chills, never had a headache, never had a cough, never had shortness of breath,” he said on GMA. “I’m feeling great.”
George’s wife, actress Ali Wentworth, on the other hand hasn’t been so lucky.
Wentworth announced two weeks ago she had been diagnosed with the coronavirus, revealing in a social media post on April 1, “I’ve never been sicker.”
“High fever. Horrific body aches. Heavy chest,” Wentworth shared about how the highly contagious virus has left her feeling. “I am quarantined from my family. This is pure misery.”
Wentworth later posted a picture of the things that helped her get through COVID-19, including chicken soup, zinc, Tylenol and Tylenol PM, orange juice – and of course, a picture of her husband George.
