Haircut Trends for 2018

Looking for a new ‘do in 2018? Whether you want something bold to ring in the new year, or prefer a more subtle style, here are five haircut trends to inspire you.
Mid-Length Shag
Long wavy hair has been popular for a few seasons now, but that’s about to change. Mid-length haircuts will be popular in 2018 and given a shag style with tons of layers and texture added throughout. Bangs are also an important part of this style – and whether you choose a full fringe, or side-swept bang make sure to use products that will give this hairdo lots of texture and body.Shag with choppy bangs. #shaghaircut #brunette #hairstyle #hairtrends #reservingbeauty

Asymmetrical Bob
It’s the classic style that’s not going anywhere! 2018’s version of the asymmetrical bob will see sleek styling thanks to the use of a flat-iron and hair products that fight frizz and add healthy shine. Opt for a cut that is longer at the front then the back and choose either a full straight bang, or no fringe at all.
Long, luscious locks
Thanks to Ciara and Kim Kardashian-West, long straight locks are still on trend for 2018. Create what is lovingly known as ‘Cher Hair’ by sporting a center part and keeping the hair shiny and stick-straight. Thanks to hair extensions you don’t have to spend years trying to grow out your own hair!
Super Short Crop
When Kate Hudson chopped off her long locks and opted instead for a buzz-cut, little did she know her new effortless ‘do would spur a new trend. If you have the guts to go for this style be prepared to feel completely free and liberated. Plus it takes hardly anytime at all to style this super easy cut. Best of all it’s completely versatile. You can play around with having it cut slightly longer on top and funking it up with texturizing spray, or opt for a dramatic platinum blonde hair color.Marshall ready! #PremiereTime #NYC #OutOct13 @marshallmovie

Wavy Lob
The tousled, easy to wear long bob is also going nowhere in 2018. Keep the length at the shoulders, or slightly longer and have your stylist incorporate long layers and texture to give the style bounce and body. Apply a sea-salt texturizing spray when styling and use a large curling iron to add bouncy waves that can be tousled with your fingers before running some texturizing wax through the ends.A post shared by Posy Beauty (@theposybeauty) on
