Stepping out in a vintage Thierry Mugler black cut-out gown, Kim Kardashian managed to avoid a potential wardrobe malfunction while rocking the gorgeous look.

Leaving little to the imagination, Kim showcased her famous curves in the vintage 1998 gown and left most of us wondering just how the strategically placed dress stayed in place.
Kim chose the daring dress for the 5th Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards and chose to showcase the fearless frock by letting the jaw-dropping design speak for itself. Kim kept jewelry to a minimum, wore her hair back in a slick bun and complimented the cut-out design with similarly styled black cuffs on each wrist.

According to W magazine, Kim is one of only a handful of celebrities privileged enough to shimmy into a vintage Thierry Mugler gown. W reports the vault of Mugler vintage pieces was rarely opened since Beyonce wore a look dating back to 1995 for her 2009 video Sweet Dreams. However, since Cardi B rocked not one, but three vintage Mugler gowns during the Grammys last weekend, its looks as though we may get to see more archival pieces from the renowned designer.
