Mama June Arrested on Drug Charges

June Shannon, also known as Mama June, has been arrested on drug charges in Alabama.
The reality star of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Mama June: From Not to Hot was taken into custody at a gas station in Tuskegee, Alabama and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to USA Today.
According to People, Mama June was found with a crack pipe and what is believed to be crack cocaine at the time of the arrest. The substance is undergoing testing.
People are reporting Mama June was arrested with her boyfriend, Eugene Edward Doak, who faces charges of third-degree domestic violence, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Doak was in possession of a crack pipe and what is believed to be crack cocaine at the time of his arrest.
Mama June’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 27.
