Netflix Confirms Beyoncé Documentary After Weekend Tease

An ambiguous Twitter post from Netflix over the weekend sent Beyoncé fans into a flurry of excitement over the possible release of a rumored documentary showcasing the pop diva’s historic performance at last year’s Coachella music festival. The post from the streaming giant simply teased the word “HOMECOMING” complete with three Roman numerals and the date, April 17.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to make the connection since the look of the post mirrored Queen Bey’s original Coachella announcement reveal. According to USA Today, Netflix’s “Homecoming” billboard in Times Square also alternated between the hot pink and gold colors Beyoncé used for her Coachella headlining act. Netflix finally calmed the frayed nerves of Beyoncé’s massive fanbase by confirming the documentary will air on April 17 – and even provided a sneak-peak at some of the footage!
