Pete Davidson Shares Troubling Instagram Post

In a since deleted Instagram post, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson shared a troubling message, causing the New York police to perform a wellness check on the 25-year-old.
Davidson wrote in the jarring post, “I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.”
The message prompted an outpouring of support from celebrities, including a since-deleted tweet from ex-fiancee Ariana Grande, writing, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.”
The SNL cast member has been open about his diagnosis of borderline personality disorder on social media and in interviews. He recently applauded rapper Kanye West for speaking out about his own mental health issues.
According to the New York Times, police performed a welfare check on the star, with a rep confirming Davidson was at work and doing fine.
