Tesla May Soon Accept Bitcoin as Payment

You could soon purchase your brand new Tesla with Bitcoin, the company said in its annual filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
According to CNN, Tesla said it expects to “begin accepting bitcoin as a form of payment for our products in the near future.”
The company also announced in its filing it has bought $1.5 billion worth of bitcoin for “more flexibility to further diversify and maximize returns on our cash.”Plaid Model S ships next month pic.twitter.com/HFUPTnQiPB

If Tesla comes through on its promise to accept bitcoin as payment it will become the first major automaker to do so.
