Willow Smith is the New Brand Ambassador for Chanel

Willow Smith is the new face of Chanel. The 15-year-old was announced as Chanel’s new ambassadress by Karl Lagerfeld during the Fall/Winter 2016 show in Paris.

She took to Instagram just after the announcement to confirm the news and express her thanks.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, Willow stated, “Sitting in the chairs and just watching the clothes walk by is so amazing because you get to see the soul that’s inside of them. I feel like there is so much creativity going on that I want to inject some of my ideas and some of my energy into the brand, because I feel like there’s a lot of things that come from youth nowadays that need to be expressed and amplified to the world.”
The teen has sprung into the fashion world, signing a modeling contract with The Society Agency and starring in the Marc Jacobs campaign.
Older brother Jaden Smith has also landed some major gigs, modeling for Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2016 womenswear collection.
