Lupita Nyong’o is no stranger to the red carpet and amazing fans with her fashion forward style. She didn’t disappoint at the “Star Wars” Force 4 Fashion event in New York City on Wednesday where her dress literally lit up the red carpet. Source: Getty Images
Nyong’o, who plays the part of the CGI character Maz Kanata, in the highly-anticipated film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, stunned in a dress that incorporated a sparkling LED light show with flickering, brightly colored lights.
The Academy Award-winning actress explained the inspiration behind the twinkling design to reporters at the event stating, “This is a Zac Posen collaboration with Google for an initiative they have called Made With Code, where they encourage young girls to try out computer science as a possible career, and this is how science can intersect with fashion.”
