Starting July 15 Starbucks will require all customers to wear a face mask when inside one of their stores.
According to Business Insider, all employees have been directed to ask customers to wear a mask, or, if they refuse to wear a mask, point them to other ordering options such as the drive-through or curbside pickup.
“In our continued effort in prioritizing the health and well-being of partners (employees) and customers, beginning on July 15, we will be requiring customers to wear facial coverings while visiting all company-owned café locations in the US,” Starbucks representative Reggie Borges said in a statement to Business Insider on Thursday. “The company is committed to playing a constructive role in supporting health and government officials as they work to mitigate the spread of COVID-19,” the company said in a press release.
