Target on Tuesday announced a limited-time collection from fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, known for her iconic wrap dress.
The Diane von Furstenberg for Target collection features more than 200 items including women’s, girls’ and baby apparel, accessories, beauty, and home decor, with prices starting at just $4, and most items under $50. In a first for Target’s limited-time collaborations, the collection will also offer made-to-order furniture starting at $300.
The collection is a collaboration between the fashion designer and her granddaughter, Talita von Furstenberg, a designer and entrepreneur who also co-chairs her grandmother’s brand.
Our partnership with Diane and Talita von Furstenberg represents Target at our best — curating an amazing and distinct assortment and offering it at exceptional prices, Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of apparel and accessories, home and hardlines at Target, said in a statement. Guests will fall in love with this inspiring and broad collection. There’s so much to spark joy, just in time for new spring looks — available only at Target.
Diane von Furstenberg rose to prominence in the 1970s with her wrap dress, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Every collection we create is about making women feel confident so they can be the women they want to be, Von Furstenberg said. Talita and I are proud to partner with Target to extend that invitation to even more women who want to experience timeless pieces that bring effortless glamour and empowerment to their everyday lives.
The collection is inspired by nature, women and art, and features archival Diane von Furstenberg prints along with new and exclusive patterns and pieces.
The made-to-order furniture includes headboards, benches and room dividers that can be customized in one of seven exclusive Diane von Furstenberg for Target fabrics.
The collection will be available to shop starting on Saturday, March 23.
