TGI Fridays Offers ‘The Tax Break’ Cocktail To Ease The Pain Of Filing Season

As the April 15 tax filing deadline quickly approaches, TGI Fridays is helping guests deduct some stress with the Tax Break cocktail starting April 2.
The Tax Break is a one-of-a-kind margarita featuring 1800 Silver Tequila mixed with citrus, agave, strawberry, and passionfruit. The drink also comes with an added asset: a hitchhiker of Hennessy V.S.
The casual restaurant chain says The Tax Break is perfect for softening the blow of owing money after filing or rejoicing in the celebration of receiving a refund.
As a brand that’s known for its iconic bar, we’re experts at crafting the perfect drink to bring That Fridays Feeling to any and every moment, TGI Fridays CEO Weldon Spangler said in a statement. We know that tax season can be a stressful time for many, so we’re flipping the script by giving our guests a fun reprieve to make their day a little less taxing.
The limited-edition cocktail will be available April 2 through April 30 at participating TGI Fridays locations for just $7.
The restaurant is also offering a free entrée for Fridays Rewards members with the purchase of an entrée of equal or lesser value, from April 2 through April 30.
Fans can also save money with TGI Fridays’ new $5 Happy Hour, with select drinks and bites just $5 Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. until closing time.
